1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using xstitch.me (the “Service”), operated by Backwards Dog LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service is a cross-stitch pattern management application that lets you import images, convert them into stitchable patterns, match pattern colors to embroidery thread, and track your thread inventory at app.xstitch.me.

3. Accounts

To use the Service you must create an account with a username and email address. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that infringes the rights of others, including copyright;
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the patterns and images you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by Backwards Dog LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Backwards Dog LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page, and the updated version will apply as of its posted date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
