xstitch.me is a cross-stitch pattern management app. You import an image, the app converts it into a palette-indexed pattern grid, and you can edit the pattern, match its colors to DMC floss, and track the threads in your inventory.

How do I turn an image into a pattern?

Sign in at app.xstitch.me and import an image. The app converts it to a stitchable pattern automatically, and you can adjust it with the pattern editor before you start stitching.

What is thread matching?

Each color in your pattern is matched to the closest DMC floss color, so you know which threads to buy for a project. Matches are shown per pattern color.

Can I use xstitch.me for free?

Yes. The Free tier includes image import, the pattern editor, thread matching, and inventory tracking — with limits on photo imports and on the number of live patterns. A Pro pass adds PDF export and background removal; see the pricing page for details.

What happens when my pass ends?

Passes last for the period you bought and end automatically — nothing renews or needs cancelling. When a pass ends, your patterns stay on the Free tier, and you can buy another pass any time.

Do I need an account?

Yes. You sign in with a username and email address; your patterns and inventory are tied to your account.

How is my data handled?
